We do this all day.Rocket and other lenders simply do not want to minuscule liability chance for such a tiny portion of their would be business so their attorneys tell their often not very experienced people that THEY do not do them so the LO assumes it is against the law.

An LO that also understands the intricacies of where you want to invest (and it is a benefit if he/she has a known reputation of getting loans through in your area) is a big plus.Good luck in your search.

So even though there was no "official" minimum period of them collecting interest, it sure as hell felt like it to that borrower, lo and behold we finally got it, and were able to close the refi, mysteriously right after the 12th month passed since they took it out, that must have been an "odd coincidence"... ahem.There are honest and forthright HML out there, to be certain.
