@Ann Bellamy  I understand the allure and hype that wholesaling has.. but as you state I don't think people realize how very difficult it is in reality.. but like all things real estate 1 to 5% will do fine the rest come and go..

You may think you are "winning" but in reality (in my case) I am letting you know I work for them and then I am going to set the contracts up in their favor. 

The reality is they do it because they are either lazy investors or simply prefer to ware financial blinders.

But, that isn't how it works and those houses are "staged", it's a *show*, a set up, play time, make believe, not reality.

What if everyone else is assuming the inside is trashed and writing the home off, when in reality the seller is just an idiot and/or very concerned about their privacy?

@Federico Morales I'd have to say the @Joe Splitrock hit it on the head here.Separate emotion from business - you said you want to hold on to it but in reality it's not a great investment.

I’ve got a general idea of what I think painting and cleaning would cost but I wanted to see if it was in line with reality.

I watched a video of the Zillow rep discussing this change, and it sort of seemed like he wasn't quite on the reality train.

The brutal reality nobody wants to talk about is that this 'thing' called Real Estate, like anything else worthwhile in life, is hard, requires a painful change in mindset, takes dedication, practice and time.Money is never the issue in any business.

A lot of people think "I'll save that kind of money when I have big money coming in", when in reality the time that is most important to save most of your money is when you don't have much of it.
