Sounds like in this case the women had no idea, so I don't think should be attacking them, but he has to be disturbed IMO.If we were to stop a life before conception, you never know what the future heirs of that life may do, they could be a mass murderer or they could be someone who saves your great-gandkids life from a burning house, saving your seed on this earth...no way to know.

there is definitely a difference in shopping for a SFR to live in and a multi family.as stated 4 plexs are pretty universal the world over.. or at least the in US.. 2 bd 1 ba maybe a little mixture.. so there is really not a lot to see... like a SFR home were your looking for floor plans and color scheme's etc.and the main issue is the owners don't want their tenant disturbed.. think about having to disturb and set up 4 appointments with tenants to show to one buyer.

Visual inspection only cost the price for the materials, lab testing is going to be over $100 so again; sucks to be in RI.Secondly, there are obviously lots of other parts to the new regs around how much space will be disturbed, who will be living in the house, etc but the key fact is that this applies to "compensated" firms and individuals and under EPA rules landlords doing there own renovations are compensated individuals as they receive rent so they have to follow the EPA practices and be certified.

I see stuff about RRP certified contractors but no where where it actually says you have to have house tested.If there's lead paint I'm sure it will be disturbed in the work, so should I just hire RRP certified contractors and leave it at that?
