We also have a very low cost of living (probably because the weather sucks and nobody wants to live here) but if you can tolerate 45 degree shifts in temperature in a 24 hour period you'll love it here!

The weather gets fairly cold in the winter and when the temperature drops to 5 degrees and a furnace goes on the blink expect to pay 200% more than the average cost for a repair, or pay for water damage caused by frozen water pipes.

IG: @MattPriestJr I have properties that I rent by the room in King/Pierce/Snohomish Counties.Many pro tips.For heating, I use Nest Thermostat and "lock" the temperature on 68 degrees.
