@Justin Thiesse  those work very well in the right spot and if you can build them efficiently. in some areas and I don't know yours.. but some developers went high end on the storage.kind of like building airplane hangers ( the best rental ever LOL)they built high end for those that have expesnive car habit want a shop to tinker.. need to park their million dollar motor home.. want to build a man cave away from the house..you should see what some folks do to their aircraft hangers.. there should be a reality show on that some pretty awesome ones I have been in.. our is just a hanger..

In reality the taxable income would be less than -$1,328 because there would also be amortization of fixed assets and probably some partnership-level fees such as an asset management fee.

I know when you buy a home it does not include the land in the sq. ft. figure, but the reality is you are getting the land as well as a garage (possibly).

That's only $33/month if I start saving now, but in reality I will either sell the property by then (and collect the appreciation) or the house will be worth so much more I can pull that cash back out - that the tenant put in - and take nothing from my pocket.
