I haven't been able to find any applicable properties in my area (southeastern MA) and even searched several other states and found nothing.Does anyone know anything about this program that could shed some light for me?

All institutions I have been dealing with so far had a secured website where I could upload all personal docs or they used Docusign for signing documents.

@Dan Roma Here in MA (and it might be nationwide) it is illegal for a licensed person to pay an unlicensed person.As a Realtor, I'd rather walk away from a deal if it meant violating the law to get it. 

@Heath Reid Assuming that AL laws are similar to MA, you'll have to honor existing leases.  

Here in Plymouth County, MA, homes sold over the last 6 months are selling at an average of a bit over 98% of asking price. 

Because the market value would rise and you'd still have a lower property tax bill than any new owner of the same.In Massachusetts where I also own property, it's done town-by-town.

@Chris Ayers I don't know your state's fair housing laws, but here in MA, receiving any form of public assistance is a protected class.That means it's an area where you have to tread VERY carefully. 

@Jason Ma like many things in real estate the answer is that it depends.
