I had two properties that were going vacant at the same timeone was a dead beat tenant that I had to evict after she only paid two months rent.the other was on a house that I basically just put someone in to keep a person in the house to make sure it was occupied and wouldnt be vandalized.I have a dedicated contractor who will do good work for cheap but he was unavailable and i was cash poor. it looked like I may have had to just let the properties sit until I could come up with more money.then I got an idea rent the place as istake off the money I would have paid my contractor to do some of the work and get a handyman or licensed trade skill type guy.

If you want, you could switch to 2 prong outlets, but I wouldn't spend the money on GFCI's.This buyer clearly needs to be educated that any house of the vintage in Texas which he is shopping will have these types of circuits without a dedicated ground.I own two 1950's houses and am under contract on a third and they are all wired without a dedicated ground.

We did find an old galvanized water line very rusted and seeping slowly, so we changed plans, the entire afternoon was dedicated to trenching out a new water line 24" deep.

But I left my full-time job to dedicate myself exclusively into REI and create homes.

I don't have a problem with directing people to a website or auto-responding to an inquiry to an ad, but you really need to do the screening in person or the process will turn off good prospects.My ads all list my website, and I have a dedicated page for each available property.
