I have been encountering too many dishonest people claiming to be Real Estate Investors.

Yes, talking to the police initially is a good thing when you're not guilty of anything, but after a few encounters, need to tell them of your concern that they are barking up the wrong tree and further discussion may only lead them to more speculation as they seem to have nothing toward solving this matter.

This is the first time I've encountered this scenario, so I'd love any feedback as to the pros and cons of this situation. 

One little problem I keep encountering is the drywall when I have to put a patch piece of drywall in the original drywall is less the a 1/2 inch but more than the 3/8.

Next time when I encounter a difficult situation with a financial company, I'll try a little harder to speak with the right person before blasting away online.
