If you have a national lender, they probably won't care where the property is.

Also, my firm, which is a national firm, we have State and local tax specialists so we have deep resources.

I was under the impression that it was Eastern NC when I clicked on the Forum.

FYI, my perspective is that I price this type of deal out 10 times a day with 30 of the largest national lenders.

Do you think it's better to form a relationship with a small bank vs a nationally known bank?

I've had good luck with First National Bank and Machias Savings Bank.
