The Phili example is exactly the type of situation I was wondering about. 

If it's a simple living room to bedroom conversion, it likely won't be that difficult to return to "normal" if that's ever needed but definitely a great thing to keep in mind.

If reviews are a hang-up, I'm wondering if you have sold them on your company enough.

If you are not starting from a very strong financial position and you do not have the ability to quickly stockpile cash quickly from other means then I definitely agree with that statement from the book.
