I'm in sales ful time and can read people pretty well which has become a very useful skill.Susan- our last encounter we determined they plan on moving out which was great news.

I'm getting ready to sign a lease for a property I own and I am faced with a situation I have not encountered before.  

There is also no legitimate formal training program for the profession so people are more likely to encounter one of these people when they are the most vunerable...when they are first starting out.

I would routinely encounter business owners who put themselves in a bind because they would irresponsibly go out and take MULTIPLE concurrent short term working capital loans at one time. 

I have encountered some that are very knowledgeable and are an integral part of putting a deal together and getting it to the closing table.

I encountered the same thing Jennifer T. did. 

From our numerous encounters with the tenants they seem like nice enough people but I suppose only time will tell if they are nice enough tenants.

What completely made me walk from even considering the Allentown boundaries was hearing the city rental inspectors (yes, there really are "non essential government employees") yammering on about the importance of having a LICENSED plumber change a water heater in your rental.... after you have paid your poundage to the city inspection department for a  PERMIT to change such water heater, and then have it INSPECTED for the purpose of a STICKER on the appliance.... all in the name of safety!

I rarely encounter any situation where I need to speak with them on the phone (their response rate by email is OK), but I do hope that when I need to speak with someone, I don't have to wait more than 5 minutes to do so. 

I recently encountered that the deadbolt on the door is broken and what happened was the door must have been slammed shut with the deadbolt open and it cracked the door as well as breaking the deadbolt.
