It’s great that you’re thinking ahead about property management, especially as an out-of-state investor.As a property manager working for a company that specializes in managing properties for out-of-state investors, one of the biggest pieces of advice I can offer is to ensure clear and prompt communication with your PM team from the very first call.

Someone with $10M in the bank in cash just needs to put a lot of money to work and time value and tax write off is more interesting to them than a hungry investor in their 20s that has never found a deal.Honestly, books are great, but they are about as "boiler plate" as you can get as I'm sure you're discovering.

He was a past President of the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM), he's honest, and he's a great businessman.
