If the US dollar collapsed or had inflation/deflation of 10% per day the entire world monetary system would be turned upside down.

Plumbers put a camera down the line and said that the cast iron drain has collapsed somewhere in the middle of the house and that they need to excavate through the foundation to repair the line digging up multiple rooms $$$$.  

@Brian Burke I notice you said you slowed down your fix and flips in the early 2000's, then I got the impression that you did some house building prior to the collapse, then got back into flipping.Do you think this is a normal cycle?

I've seen a lot of these complexes just collapse in values, and it will take a very long time for them to rebound. 

So the icons of industry won't allow it to collapse.

I am just hoping that this catches SOMEONE'S attention that can reign this in before there is a major small business collapse as well.Don't even get me started on WAMU.

In the event of a collapse or sale, stock owners receive their money last after debt holders, bond holders and preferred shares are paid out.  

No harm in consulting with one or two more.I happen to agree that all the eggs in the basket, at our age, is just as scary a proposition as another market correction/collapse as we near retirement.

Those numbers today make sense and back when I passed on them at $15k it also made sense, it's the market that's made the difference, from total collapse flooded with properties to a significant shortage market with capital desperate to find a place to be deployed.
