Dodd-Frank put a lot of new rules in to selling with seller financing, especially to owner occupants.If the other lender does approve this, make sure you follow the new rules for selling with seller financingthe rules vary slightly by state, so get good advice from an attorney before you proceed.also be careful. that if they default in the first 3 years, and the urban terrorist, the contingent fee attorney, can prove that you did not do your due diligency in qualifying the buyer's ability to pay, (or get a mortgage broker to do it) then you could have to give the buyer back all the money they paid in the last 3 years.
