Good afternoon,   I have an issue were a seller decided to hold off on the listing and postpone all showing until the husband felt better.

Have the owner contact the bank and ask for a postponement based on her condition and that you two are going to work something out to bring the bank current.

There's a lot that can be said about automatic stays but generally the sale date would be postponed if it's their first time filing.

They have a lifetime warranty on failure and should someone break one, the replacement is extremely reasonable.I looked into it for my units, but they needed HVAC before windows, so I decided to postpone them for a while.Bernie

Today was supposed to be my jumping off point, but it's been postponed into next week due to weather (seriously...outside business in FL, can't help it) .

Think of it this way, education will not prevent failure it will only postpone action.

Now that it would be a short sale, you'd have to get the auction postponed, which would take presenting some specific documentation to the judge at a hearing.
