You can be out 3 months rent real quick - plus have to pay court costs to solve you problem.  3x the rent is a tall order for many people - but not all people!

**Basement Water Damage:** The walls in the basement are wet up to 15 inches, and it appears that water is seeping in from the ground.3.

This can be a tall order for many just getting started.Otherwise, one way to get around that is to buy a a new house that you will "house hack" where you live in one side, and rent out the other side.  

Cracks in driveway are fine unless like multiple inch difference in heights (tripping hazard) and the window would need to be fixed.

Often getting fewer, larger cabinets is better than more smaller ones (eg 2 30 inch cabinets instead of 3 20 inch ones).

Or maybe they are supposed to be taking care of the lawn and you get a letter from the city for violations because the grass is too tall.
