We have many of the pieces in place to transition into this business and have recently found a potential investor.

Like a @Brian Burke for example who is a foreclosure expert in your market.. then there probably is not the kind of money in it your thinking there is.picking up the pieces of a failed major rehab can be all sorts of problems.. at least the foreclosure will wipe out material men liens in CA. 

One piece of advice is hire a property inspector that is familiar with this era of multi-family homes.

I wouldn't outsource for 1500 pieces.

So... no way would I give you a piece of the commission for your closing costs after the deal is accepted, am I living in the house?!  

And while Crowdfund Insider has published one of my pieces and asked for more, I'm also not a huge fan of the quality of 90% of what they put out.

If you haven't got a piece of land yet, that info would be easy to acquire during the purchase process.

The AKC designation of the AST is what I was referring to, and the distinction between the AST and the APBT was enough for my HOA.
