Private investor does not participate in the management of property.

I attend a few RE meetings & I learned a lot from people's experiences & you can share ups & downs, ask questions, participate in local deals either lending money only or JV or equity deals.

Its long overdue for me to begin networking and participating in the community but better late than never.

You won't get very far with $500k.I also agree that the stupid rules will force non-accredited investors to only be allowed to participate in the riskiest projects.  

For more complex and time-sensitive portfolios, this can be a superior option.There is a lot of good info here on BP and may providers participate actively in the forums.  

I have been lurking around for a while and decided to jump in and start participating. 

Examples of disqualified family members are the plan participant's parents, children, and children's spouses.

It would be a tremendous burden.Yesterday, when I watched and participated in a round table discussion with one of the founding fathers of Crowdfunding, who is doing the CF IPO and a VC Wallstreet/Silicon Valley "we've always done it this way" type,along with the Founder of the RECF seeking capital.
