However, when it comes to the time and energy required to do an outstanding job of getting the best tenant (marketing, screening, qualification...etc), particularly handling the inbound applications and all the showings, hiring a PM may be worth the expense.One thing to be very wary of: PMs who charge many, seemingly ridiculous fees.

In many countries like the ones you mentioned, actual reliable data is hard to come by so take that worth a grain of salt.There are opportunities, but it’s risky given we don’t know when tourism will pick up again so it’s hard to anticipate the carrying costs.
