If the govt can't institute basic reforms that would clearly benefit the country and provide protection for investors, and at the rate ANY legislation is going...it'd have to be an extremely solid deal with extremely trusted local partners to make it worth considering!

So as part of Ontario's Fair Housing Plan, they stated that they would be introducing standardized leases: The government will introduce legislation that would, if passed, strengthen the Residential Tenancies Act to further protect tenants and ensure predictability for landlords.

Hello All...in a "free" course several months ago, the speaker spoke about new legislation where a landlord/property owner can be charged each time they communicate with a tenant about money without first notifying them of the intent.

Your personal estate is well isolated from the entities.Again, this is how rich legislators wrote the law - to protect themselves and their personal possessions / estate from the risks and liabilities incurred by the business entities.A side benefit is that you are -NOT- self-employed!
