You can replace scaffold builders with painters. 

At one point I proudly declared to my Dad and his friends that 'when I grow up, I want to be a painter (not the artist kind)'.

@Tyler Brown I have been looking into Wilkes-Barre as well because I have family there, my uncle is actually a painter in town.

If that doesn’t interest you I’d say a close second would be a painter those guys charge crazy rates and I paint frequently but do it myself.  

You may be able to find a painter who will bill extra for the cleaning and lower the cost for the painting just so you have the receipt.

For instance- I have a mainly workers-- painters, flooring guys, roofers, framers etc that are unlicensed sub-contractor types.  

Is it better to contract out the entire project or take a more hands on approach and find the electrician, flooring guy, painter, etc?

Long story short, I was in Home Depot buying paint at the paint booth chit chatting with the employee and he said he worked with a "professional painter" for 20 years and gave me his number.
