Not every market and area are the best though, look for things like tourism, proximity to hospitals or large business generators.

There's also rarely a dip in tourism in Asheville, so demand stays very strong no matter the economic environment.

There is no tourism here, but there is a petrochemical refinery. 

If you think the hotel/tourism industry does not have a vested interest here, or that the can have their *** kicked by AirB&B, I believe you have another think coming.
