Blame the Cincinnati City Council(s) over the last twenty years or so.

And the real protection comes from paying an attorney to defend the LLC's (and you) in a lawsuit.What is the cost of that, and the cost to get you released from the lawsuit personally because plaintiffs councils in some areas seem to like to generate (excess) fees with this maneuver?

I was looking at one in Saratoga Springs to do that also, the city said that the city council needs to approve a duplex status, and it most likely it wouldn't be approved to switch it to a duplex. 

Our legal council has always suggested we do them in the last two weeks.

Definitely call your local city council or leaders and make the case that many people have parents that are elderly; that need to be close by so that adult children can be their caregivers, etc.

@Kristin Vegas You may want to check with your local tenant council regarding what you can do as a resident tenant of the park since you pay lot rent (landlord/tenant relationship).
