This work can be a grind, and positive attitude and the right people are the difference in my opinion. 

Or 'I have chronic insomnia, I need you to provide blackout curtains and a white noise machine.'

The first tenants I had were harassed by the neighbor next door for making too much noise. 

The upstairs neighbor complained of hearing loud noise from the TV very late at night from my tenants back in 2016.

But, consider not only the extra work involved on your part and extra liability risk, but also the extra wear and tear, and the relationship you have with the neighbors (think about the impact of additional noise and increased traffic).A tenant tried to run an unlicensed day care out of one of our units and we put a stop to it before it got off the ground.

The purpose is to prevent people form grinding bones down the disposal or putting tons of food down the dishwasher.

This is the more expensive option up front, but I'm concerned about noise. 

Life is a grind, man. 

A tenant texted me and said the electrical outlets in her walls were making a "clicking noise."

Don't listen to the noise.
