I would not call myself an excellent GC, but I can pull permits, manage construction draws, and do the necessary things to be the contractor.

They have billions and have paused distributions, but as mentioned by Brian (which is an EXCELLENT READ), they hold five years until they cannot sell and hold longer. 

I am also tech-savvy and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Their big seling point is all of the exposure but what I’ve found is all the exposure in the world won’t help keep you rental booked without guest service being excellent.

@Kristi TietzGator lending can be an excellent way to make extra money, but I agree with some others in here that it may be more of a business model for experienced investors.

I purchased a bunch of PSI exams and books, no issues obtaining an excellent grade (PSI wording, not mine). 

It's an excellent place for both new and seasoned investors to gather, network, and delve deeper into specific investing topics or strategies.If you plan to use private or hard money, the barrier of entry is a bit tougher for new investors.

They also curate a list of meetups that are active in the Chicagoland area, and the content on the podcast is excellent.
