Versus some WA counties that run by crazy city councils (Seattle is one of those).My 2 cents.

The city council and state legislature are not landlord friendly, but their policies that actively discourage development will continue to drive appreciation (which you shouldn’t bet on, but is a great bonus if you get). 

On Tuesday, August 13, the Sacramento City Council will likely vote to enact a rent control ordinance. 

However, I did speak with the land development office about STRs recently (I am working on getting mine approved back as a STR), and the City Council apparently is in the drafting stages of "doing away with" non-owner occupied STRs.

Unfortunately, instead of trying to create enforceable guidelines for this, city councils have passed municipal codes completely outlawing this practice.  

He would not listen to me when I told him it was a hoax,  he wouldn't listen about spreading your income over several properties, he would not even accept all of my resources that I had to offer him along with expert council at KW !
