Otherwise, I am gonna put the money into stocks, because I feel like the process of a fix and flip isn't my cup of tea.

The repairs I'm talking about are gutters filled with leaves, trees growing against house.

They did raise the condo fees and are building decent reserves over the last few years, but I've learned that officers in condo associations are not the best at budgeting or getting good deals on things like tree removal or storm drain repair and tend to waste a lot of money.  

I was taught that if I only had 8 hours to cut down a tree, then I should spend the first 6 sharpening my Ax. 

The only things I did was cut up a tree branch that broke, and paint the outside of the house. 

This may include heritage trees, easements, setback lines, CC&Rs, slopes of lots (topography), ordinances, zoning, critical environment features, etc.

At the property I'm currently rehabbing, the neighbor's dog gets a treat every day, I've trimmed the trees & bushes between our yards (not really mine) & always mow more than my share, over to his driveway. 

I get the feeling I'm barking up a real tall tree.
