Make sure you check heating and cooling systems as well regardless of season, and have the inspector show you how those items work, e.g. if its a boiler.

They're also quite small and most have central space heaters to heat the whole unit.There are some newer properties sprinkled around that neighborhood and I'm sure some of the older ones have had structural upgrades but I just wanted to give you a heads up!

The structure itself has no issues, but there is no source of heat, and the water has not be turn on for a few years.

You either empty the line and blow the water out with an air compressor, or you keep the unit heated so the water never freezes.

I'm thinking of just letting the HVAC go until both the heat pump and air handler (circa 1983) need to be replaced and renting the unit as-is.
