I am looking for B class areas.

Why buy the real estate equivalent of a penny stock when you can afford to buy blue chip aristocrat dividend stocks (Class A multifamily properties in good locations with actual strong fundamentals like population growth, a diverse and recession-resistant job market, limited supply and high demand, affordability, and consistent long-term appreciation)?

When it comes to criminal history, that is not a protected class... yet.

These markets are what we would call D class; Hartford, Waterbury, parts of New Haven, Bridgeport. 

The house has been on the market but traffic is slow - not sure if this is due to the current environment or something specific I should address within my listing (we've already adjusted the price). 

Many people buy in larger cities like this because the paper cash flow looks sweet, but the reality of it, across the board right now - good cash flow equals lower neighborhood class, more variable tenancies, and tons of hidden capital expenditures.

The property had undergone significant renovations c10 years ago following the issuance of three class B violations - mold, lack carbon monoxide detectors x2.
