Should I spend my time doing X wholesaling with Y likelihood of success, or something else that has Z likelihood of success? 

Tell him in that scenario; you will pay him X, you will give him Y down, with an interest rate of Z (interest only) and a term of 10-15 years.

I usually bring the A to Z and my partners fund the DP's and closing costs and we finance together.

If I were to go through a bank, I would not get near that amountSo now, that $150k is my “reserve” and from here the investor will show me the A-Z process since im funded.
