Got my first property under contract recently and am starting to connect the pieces.My insurance agent that I use for Home and Auto gave me the below information on insuring a single flip under an LLC:I will have a package policy for liability and a builders risk policy.

We have contracts for over here (in Australia) but they do vary slightly from State to State - possibly the same in the US, but your legal people should be able to advise on that.You can get access to US standard option contracts, again that may need to be modified to suit your deal, as part of the package available at my website.

Your purchase agreement / contract will specify a period to really grind through the entire due diligence package, including inspections, but confirming the numbers before you spend any cash (purchase agreement work, inspections, etc) would be in your best interest if you can get the data from the seller.
