I am looking for some suggestions on banks or credit unions that will do HELOC on a rental duplex.  I have done them with RCU royal credit union, but they have a 50k max.  Any other suggestions  

I have been looking at purchasing a side by side duplex to house hack in the greater Minneapolis area but the numbers don't work based on current prices and rates.

New to the forums thanks for the input everyone...I've had a long term rental in Minneapolis the last 11 years that we do good on (make roughly $600/month) but always seem to struggle with renters. 

I just bought a property in Uptown Minneapolis that I hope to work on and add living space.

I have a realtor send me listings of properties that I am looking to rehab, but I just don't have a great idea of what is a good deal or not - other than a small area of my city (Minneapolis) where I have rentals.

I am in the Minneapolis area and looking to do either live in flips or live in/buy another and rent out strategies.

I help out of state buyers get acquaintanted with Minneapolis and Saint Paul through video and live tours, and that has brought me many happy clients.

RE Journal is reporting no growth in rent compared to 2021, and other places are reporting drops in Minneapolis rent.

I do not know the Minneapolis market at all but I'd venture a guess that 10% is going to be the low point there too.
