The rest of the house is an inoffensive dark tan.

In the last few years, and continuing now, many new apartment developments are coming online that are focused on students that seem more like resorts than the apartments that I was familiar with...they have amenities like huge pools, lazy rivers, tanning beds, game rooms, full gyms, etc.  

We are in the middle of one flip down in San Tan Valley.

@Clarice Tan Land ownership laws in Indonesia--and to a lesser extent MY--are set up to protect their citizens (foreigner ownership and freehold restrictions, minimum value, etc).

Grey or tan are colors I usually stick to and I prefer Olympic one for interior paint.

I am looking into investing in rental homes in the San Tan area here in AZ.

Leave the roof alone until necessary and if you must, whitewash, or I would stucco the brick and paint it with a light tan or beige to brighten it up.
