No one out in the cold and all the hooligans love to wonder in the summer nights.

But in the OP's situation above, you are as the landlord typically "stuck" with hooligans, who will chase away any chance of you getting a good tenant in your building.These forums are rife with posts every week from landlords with tenants breaking their lease without the expected recourse.  

I'm in for the 21st at hooligans.

I know how.Sorry, but my imagination doesn't extend as far as crazed starving hooligans over-running the country.

I have driven through the burned out, boarded up, hooligan infested neighborhoods many times, because of my job as a professional driver.

I've been working on the side that the 'other' family vacated and every time I enter or leave the house, the neighbor is outside asking me if I'm going to find other "hooligans" to rent the side I'm working on now (I replied "no, you've got it wrong...not hooligans, hoodlums!"  

How do I, as a soon to be landlord, filter out the hooligans and protect myself from bad tenates?
