I wanted to briefly re-introduce myself (I’m committing to get more active in BP again!) 

And the plan is to convert an existing Airbnb I own (and have run as an Airbnb since 2019) to PadSplit.

My husband is a numbers-focused entrepreneur who bootstrapped his business in a challenging industry and kept it afloat, (he definitley has grit), while I’m a nurse who recently stepped away from my job to fully commit to building a real estate business.

Beyond basic numbers, how do you stress-test deals to make sure funding won’t become a problem?

@Eric Van Laar  Before I commit capital or meaningful amount of my time anywhere, I need to experience the neighborhood firsthand.

In my opinion, if you're not prepared to treat it that way or can't commit fully, you may want to consider a different route for generating income.

Now, normally, I would emphasize the importance of touring a property before making any commitments, but this particular situation seemed promising ... at first.You see, we had the vacant units and the down units all ready for our visit.
