Perhaps this aspect of cheap masking tape would allow it to be used as a solution to this problem, leaving it on too long and then pulling off the unwanted brown paint.

Same thing happened to my rental here in Jacksonville..DEA, state marshals, doors and windows kicked in, machine guns and 100 pounds of weed, news crews...etc...a month later it was old news and the house was rented out again..

This takes a LOT of my time.If I went to get a judgement against this tenant for the balance of the lease (if I could even find them to serve court papers), the judge would tell me to go pound sand, absorb it as a business expense, go re-rent the apartment, move on with my life and quit bothering him with this "nonsense."
