Whenever you are buying a property out of state you should do a few things to ensure it's as smooth as possible.Don't buy in the roughest neighborhood in the urban core.

.- I agree with other comments, investing in OZ is very risky, most of the offering is an opportunistic-style investment (compared to core/value add in 1031 DST), so there's quite a bit risk of losing money.

I love the idea of delegation/automation/systems in business (and use quite a few) but go back and forth on what is delegatable vs. what is a core task that needs to be taken on individually.

Now I find out probate here sucks- they compel you to get a lawyer and it takes forever.

@Abby Austin I’m assuming you were looking in the central core where these “condo” homes have become popular.

No matter the reason for the partnership, I want to be in business with solid human beings that share my core values.

It's a healthy and diverse economy with projected growth, but its also a city surrounded by open build-able land, which means it doesn't have the same kind of condensed urban core, where scarcity of land drives rapid appreciation like in other major cities.
