My response always was to create an awkward pause by not saying anything for 5 seconds and then respond by stating we have a process that candidates must complete their credit and background checks, submit proof of income, and then we review all candidates.

The fact that people and properties could be carrying the virus is more tantamount now, in my opinion.I am moving forward on my deals in the works, but I am taking a pause before beginning my next two renovation projects which have already closed.

This tenant might well be aware of his rights and the position the city and the state have adopted during these times, but just because they are putting a pause on evictions doesn't mean that rent isn't still due.

@Bob BarrieI feel your pain,,, I am in New York and I'm going through the same problem.... we were in the middle of the eviction (holdover) prosses when the Governor put a pause on evictions........

This past week the FED indicated a pause in their historically paced rate tightening cycle.

We used to get the meter installed right after close until they paused the program.

There are many strategies to use.I would counsel you to pause before you move away from an incredibly lucrative growth area like Tampa to head north where your demographics, infrastructure, target market density and appreciation prospects are compromised.

I know that was happening under the MeterSave program but I think the program is currently on pause as of the end of 2022.
