You should NEVER allow them to feel they have that kind of leverage over you, especially if there is no negligence involved.

To attach the deficiency judgement to the primary residence, did you have to show some kind of conveyance or involvement of that property in the traceability of the funds, or was it just a blanket attachment to all assets?

That means, for each and every claim they make (and they can make all kinds of claims in the initial filing,) there’d better be proof, or at least some evidence, in *their* possession.I am not an attorney, but have successfully defended myself (without a lawyer) in legal proceedings against so-called-ones.
