If you push her to accept something that she doesn't want, and something goes wrong you will regret it and it could cost you your marriage. 

A lease is as much of a commitment as marriage and only slightly cheaper to get out of.

I think also you need to think of this as a marriage, business marriage.

I must agree with some of the other comments about partnerships, Just like a marriage they can be very tough!

Yes, the “marriage” aspect is something to really think about.

@Terry Harris Pandemic/fear, recession, less job opportunities/unemployment, less marriages/relationships, people are no skipping that school district, etc. etc. 

I'm not single and compromise comes with an relationship and marriage is no different.

Also, maybe get the marriage counselor now in advance.    

I can always move out and find my own place regarding marriage and dating, etc.

I feel your pain; I started investing before paying off the loans, but they keep getting in the way of EVERYTHING--investing, marriage, kids, buying a primary, starting a business...I changed courses to get rid of them.
