Before/After:- New sink/faucet, new floors, new paint, new drawer pulls, new couch, new table, new lights, etc. 

People are freakin lazy anymore, can't be bothered to get off the couch.

I've been thinking that getting a pickup could help our landlord duties since we might have to move couches, washing machines, etc sometimes. 

We have moved old bed frames, couches, tvs, fridges, and throw pillows to our STRs.

I have used these in the past personally and they are a great option that makes eating on the couch a lot more enjoyable when you have no room for a table(also the extra storage is a nice touch)!

And you're right, getting to know the personality of some of these older buildings is a must to be realistic about appliance purchases and even advising your tenants on moving in furniture - otherwise they often try to fit the square peg in the round hole and destroy the walls in the process with huge couches and furniture.
