It is likely the policy will have to have an endorsement added to extend the liability coverage. 

Keeping the transaction simple by buying Low and Selling at or near market value is much more approachable.Seth Williams over at RETipster is indeed the real deal and I would heartily endorse checking out his stuff.

Some carriers will do a homeowners policy with an endorsement or acknowledgement of the second unit being rented out.

The congress needs to endorse the bill but it hinted it will be retroactive implying it may hit use by 4/15/18 for 2017 tax.

There may be other endorsements that you could add depending on the property.
