In most cases, I don't recommend renting out your primary residence especially if you have no rental experience and that is because usually your primary residence was bought without the idea of renting it out.

@Ketch BaysStarting small in a cash-flowing market is a smart way to gain experience and build confidence without overextending yourself financially.

I've been navigating the Section 8 space for a while, and I'd be happy to share some insights from my experience.

I do have experience working in Mortgage Processing and more recently Commercial Underwriting, so if anyone has questions in those areas I would be happy to help any way I can!

Are you set on starting with a larger property, or would you be open to beginning with something smaller to build experience?
