I've been searching for meetups and have attended a few virtual ones that I got really excited about but ended up being full of sales pitches for expensive 'workshops' or 'masterclass' type situations.

Even though this was public knowledge and the city held public forums and workshops on this, very few people knew anything about it even though it had been in the works for nearly two years.
