I'm really not sure what type of political move that he is trying to pull here by allowing hotels/motels but banning STRs; nonetheless, this changes nothing in the grand scheme of things. 

I am a rookie investor in MN, I have to travel to Grand Forks, ND, for work about once a month.

I had a 750k pre-approval lined up but due to a break up with my long time gf things have changed , I have about 60k liquid in my savings , another 14k in my Roth ira and another 19k also in the stock market for a grand total of 93k , the real issue is getting the loan , this year I will file for about 40k in taxes but I'm looking to capitalize on a house back while rates are low .

I took five grand myself and just threw it into a few dividend blue chips.

We do a lot with Grand Bank and Simmons Bank.   

Poor guy lost at least 30 grand on it.

Google says its 1.5 hours to midtown if you take the metro north but when talking to locals they say they can get to grand central in 40 minutes if you ride express and that it comes every 15 min or so.

Currently I have 10k saved and about 3-4 grand in stocks that has been fluctuating as of late.

That is a grand slam in today's market.

@Matt HigginsI don’t think we were even close to that in the GR and all sectors were getting hit real hard.
