The main take-away I can give is that they are like joing a gym; it's what you make of it...you need to be willing to take the time to participate/join the Zooms, read the materials, interact with other students/mentees, et al.

It's one of the reasons I am in the process of building a hybrid apartment/hotel in PHX, which will have the STR benefits of automation, full kitchens, and separate living and sleeping areas while having a pool, gym, outdoor courtyard, fire pit, grilling station, central location near shopping and restaurants, efficiencies of scale, commercial zoning, and no residential neighborhood challenges.

The only difference is I do everything myself, I have 2 flips I manage now and having 3 more coming up in the next month and I come home at 4-6, I go to the gym, come home, and by the time I'm on the computer doing all the marketing, answering emails, going on BP, connecting with people, and getting letters ready to be sent out to absentee owners or lists that I made myself.... it's 2a.m. and I go to sleep, wake up at 5:30.

I didn't want to pay HOA fees, but HOA's include property insurance to the exterior, so I don't have to buy additional property insurance, plus you get to enjoy all the amenities (cable,gym, pool, tennis, clubhouse, security,etc).
