So here’s the story, a few years back my Mother built a beautiful dream house down the hill a bit from us in a really beautiful location on 5 acres with lots of trees surrounding the area.

Question is why.Turns out I partnered with my mother in law on my triplex.

It sounds like the mother was, unfortunately, enabling the family and the rest of the family can't keep things together.

First property is owned by my mother ( she is an owner-occupant), second property is owned by myself ( owner-occupant) and the third one we own together along with an investor through our real estate management company.

I have spoken with the neighbors mother who lives with and provides for the adult daughter (the one doing the screaming) and they are oblivious to how people can’t just be understanding.

I am working with another BP member and we are currently searching for a SFR with a mother in Law suite for STR just south of the stadium (better chance of appreciation).

If they happen to put one of their family members in the basement a la mother in law suite, that is on them.

A duplex or SFH with mother in law type unit could work well.

Other than to be able to let my grandmother and mother retire before death.
