You must start somewhere.....there is no time like the present......What is the worst that can happen........Bankruptcy........big deal then you come back and learn to do it with no credit and no money.....the important thing is to start and never give up......get knocked down get back up....keep getting up untill you have learned the lessons and are where you want to be.If someone knocks you down and you do not get up you just lost your freedom.......Most are full of excuses and most will have excuses for why they never achieved anything in life.....the only reason is they had excuses

Seriously, I left the health care field in 2006 (was a critical care nurse for 20 years) and found that male nurses who wanted to climb the ladder into management did so at a greater pace than their female counter parts.

I would check for everything like the fees you will be responsible and what freebies they give you...also find out how much freedom you have to market yourself - some brokers won't allow you to have a personal site without too many rules to make it useful for example...also check how many agents you will be in direct competition with, what training they provide...all those things make a big difference!

Frankly I'm not willing to wait 1/4 of my life to get out from under some middle manager's thumb and will gladly take some harder days now for the freedom of work I enjoy.
