I actually factor it in and include it on my voicemail "if you are upset, please don't be, just leave me your name and address and I PROMISE you, you won't get another letter from me again, but if you are at least curious about selling your home at least give me the chance to speak with you"So my perception comes from a point of empathy and as a result I expect (and train my VA's to expect) that some callers will call angrily because they are defending their HOME and not mad at my letter.
