I don't know if Venmo would get involved, but technically if a tenant were to go to them and say "the landlord told me to pay this way", Venmo would technically be allowed to reverse the payments since it is not to be used for goods and services (unless you are set up with hem as a business and have the payment button option).Credit cards are also a big gamble
